If guitars kill fascists then I believe that music emboldens hope.

Kat & Wyld Craft

Hi, I’m Kat and it’s really rad to meet you!

Wyld Craft isn’t a record label who wants a cut of your royalties, or more money from the fans that you’ve already worked hard to bring up to the stage! Wyld Craft was created as a creative studio that wants to see local musicians thrive and build communities around their sound. I founded Wyld Craft to help independent artists achieve their goals of dominating the stage and creating a community with their fans without the red tape, royalty percentages, and bloated budgets that record labels often push upon artists.

I am a designer & photographer out of Louisville, Ky. focused on inclusivity, accessibility, and sustainability; specializing in design & live music photography for badass bands, independent artists, and musicians. I’m currently developing a whole release suite for an upcoming solo project. Previously, I’ve shot local bands & legends The Dead Speak, Breaker, Bad Moustache, and Thresh; and touring bands Fortezza (Nc.), You Died (Il.), and A Modest Proposal (In.).

By day I’m a web designer working with clients in the legal and home services sector. During my corporate career I’ve had the most amazing pleasure to have also collaborated with Marvel during their partnership with CafePress.

In 2022 I set out to improve my design process and find ways to make it more sustainable, completing an independent, research-backed course on green design practices from Little Fox design studio; becoming a certified green designer. I’ve also completed other independent courses such as the ‘Iconic Artist Blueprint’ from Austere Marketing, ‘Sell It Without Selling Out’ a marketing course from The Punk Rock MBA & Finn McKenty, and have earned the Design Thinking ‘Practitioner’ and ‘Co-Creator’ badges from IBM. Right now, I am working through a green web design course as well as a merch design course which will both be completed in mid-2023.

When not neck-deep into design, I enjoy nightly cuddles and reading books to my cat Wilbur, morning weightlifting sessions with a side of XL cold brew, outdoor & park skating, and singing to my steering wheel way too loud at stoplights.
